Abstract

Generally the inscriptions are played a vital role in the history of a region. Similarly, the inscriptions found in Tamil Nadu are also mentions about the contributions of Islamic people in the various activities. Such a way, after the settlement of Islamic people in Tamil Nadu, their rulers, officers, merchants and common peoples are made donations to the place of worship, its related ‘Matam’ and welfare of common people. Like that donations are studied in this paper.
