Panchikotti or Panchina Muslims community - A Study

Abstract
The people of Panchina, nicknamed Panchi Kotti, are slightly different from the Muslims in Tamil Nadu. The Muslims of Tamil Nadu can generally be divided into two major groups namely Tamil-speaking Muslims and Urdu-speaking Muslims. These two groups of people are widespread in all parts of Tamil Nadu. The Panchu Kotti, Muslims are native speakers of the Telugu language. This community is majorly live in regions like Perambalur, Musiri, Lalgudi, Thuraiyur, Rasipuram and Attur. This research articles traces the uniqueness of Panchikotti Muslims.
