However, despite the growing environmental concerns and the push for green technologies, the adoption rate of EVs in various markets, including India, remains relatively slow. This study aims to explore the key factors influencing consumers' pre-purchase behavior towards electric vehicles in Chennai, India. By focusing on elements such as environmental awareness, financial considerations, infrastructure availability, and perceived performance, the research seeks to identify the underlying motivations and barriers that shape consumers' decisions to consider or reject EVs. Through an analysis of primary data collected from 243 respondents, this study provides valuable insights into the psychological, technological, and socio-economic drivers behind EV adoption in an emerging market.
2025-01-22T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2025 https://jmcjarj.org/index.php/jarj/article/view/410 Beneficiaries of The Fisheries Sector on The Pmmsy Scheme in Ramanathapuram District 2025-01-21T07:15:20+00:00 M.S. Sowmiya ed001@jmc.edu Dr. G. Parimalarani ed001@jmc.edu
The fishing industry in India is integral to socioeconomic development, supporting over 28 million livelihoods and contributing significantly to food security and nutrition. As one of the top global fish producers, India's sector has multiplied, with an average annual increase of 10.88% from 2014–15 to 2018–19. Despite this, small-scale fishers face significant challenges in accessing institutional credit, essential for sustaining operations, purchasing equipment, and improving livelihoods. Government initiatives like the Pradhan Mantri Matsya Sampada Yojana (PMMSY) aim to address these barriers by promoting sustainable development, fostering entrepreneurship, and ensuring the welfare of fish farmers. The PMMSY, launched in 2020, is expected to transform the industry by 2025, significantly boosting fish production, enhancing food security, and creating employment opportunities. As the scheme unfolds, it is anticipated to substantially support the sector, driving economic growth and ensuring a brighter future for India's fishing communities.
2025-01-22T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2025 https://jmcjarj.org/index.php/jarj/article/view/399 National Lottery Business as an Alternative Form of Revenue Generation Activity of Sri Lanka 2025-01-21T03:13:24+00:00 Dr. MBM.
